A Quartet of Nonsense, part 4 – Evening Tea

Sun dips into ripples
Like biccies into tea.

It breaks,
Splits,
Slips into
The Earth’s cup.

We drink the sea away,
Too late!

The sun lies in
Soggy crumbles,
Stone cold.

Never mind,
A fresh pot’s
On the brew.
