Pendulum Moon, a poem

The half-moon
Carves a slice
Into the night,

Flooding the sky
With a million
Golden blinks.

Hitching its hook
On a passing blink,
The half moon
snatches forty winks,

Swinging into
A drowsy
Pendulum rhythm.
